DPDP Compliance

Effective Date: June 27, 2024

Introduction

This page explains how Fine Food Manufacturing India complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), India’s comprehensive data protection law. While our website does not collect personal data through registration or forms, we acknowledge and respect your rights under this law.

Scope and Applicability

The DPDP Act applies to the processing of digital personal data within India. Although Fine Food Manufacturing India does not actively collect or store personal data from users, we may inadvertently process limited data through standard website technologies such as browser logs and analytics tools. This page outlines how we handle such data in compliance with the DPDP Act.

Your Rights Under the DPDP Act

Under the DPDP Act, you have the following rights:

  • Right to access information about your personal data being processed
  • Right to correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure of your personal data
  • Right to grievance redressal if you believe your rights have been violated
  • Right to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity

How We Comply

As an informational blog with no user accounts, registration, or database storage, we do not collect or retain personal data intentionally. Any data collected automatically (e.g., IP addresses, browser type, or cookies via third-party analytics) is used solely for site functionality and performance monitoring, and is not linked to identifiable individuals. We do not sell, share, or transfer personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

Data We Process

Under the DPDP Act, we may process the following types of data incidentally:

  • IP addresses (anonymized)
  • Browser and device information
  • Usage patterns via aggregated analytics
  • Cookies for site functionality (non-tracking)

This data is not stored in a personally identifiable format and is retained only as long as necessary for technical operations.

Legal Basis for Processing

Our processing of incidental data is based on legitimate interest under Section 12 of the DPDP Act, specifically for ensuring website security, functionality, and performance. No consent is required for this limited processing, as we do not engage in profiling, targeted advertising, or sensitive data processing.
